Bilberry Eye Complex
Botanical Support for the Eyes
Age, poor lighting and eye strain can cause unfortunate changes in our eyes. Lifelong exposure to light may decrease the photoreceptors (light-sensitive nerve cells) in the eye. Sunlight can produce free radicals that break down, or oxidize, the lipids making up the outer segments of photoreceptors. This oxidation eventually damages the retina where visual perception is most acute - and can result in vision loss.
But this process is not inevitable. Studies have shown that bilberry can help maintain normal eye function. Planetary Herbals premier bilberry compounds provide rich amounts of anthocyanosides, known to support the eyes and deliver potent antioxidant protection.
Directions: 2 tablets twice daily between meals.
